	After the event, we will head towards Normandy, where we plan to carry out our first apple harvest between approximately 3–8 October. Then it will be a quick return to the Czech Republic for the markets and the beginning of the Czech apple harvest. This year, just like last year, we will be harvesting apples in both France and the Czech Republic, mainly around [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kout_na_%C5%A0umav%C4%9B Kout na Šumavě]. Accommodation is arranged at both locations. There will probably be a considerable shortage of apples in France this year, so we will see how much we manage to "pick up". The harvest in the Czech Republic is also looking somewhat weaker, but there should still be enough for our needs. Volunteer help is welcome at both locations, and we believe that everyone's efforts will be well rewarded. Accommodation and meals will be provided. 			Greetings to all,

			Indian summer is here, and autumn is knocking at the door, bringing with it another season of apple harvesting and processing — the 2026 season. Starting with this newsletter, our updates will be a little shorter over the next few months, as we will be extremely busy right through to the end of December, partly thanks to the Christmas markets.

			On Saturday, or Sunday 20/9/2026 at the latest, we are setting off for one of the largest international events dedicated to cider, [https://sisga.info/ SISGA], which takes place in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asturias Asturias], in the city of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gij%C3%B3n Xixón]. This will be our first time attending the event, and our expectations are high. I ([[User:Algoldor\|František Algoldor Apfelbeck]]) haven't been to Spain since 1997, so I'm curious to see how the country has changed.
