Kvasírna Jara or Cidrerie Jara, is a for profit commercial project founded in the autumn of 2019 and it is run by František Algoldor Apfelbeck. Put it simply, it is a manner how to make my living using my knowledge and experience of fermentation. It's goal is to generate funds by making and selling fermentation products, especially cider related, sharing knowledge by publications and presentations, organizing cider tastings and hands on workshops and so on. The long term goal is to create to a considerable degree an autonomous community place in the countryside dedicated to fermentation and other activities. Kvsírna Jara with it's focus on cidre related products and ferments in general is planned to be the main "bread giver" for the next decade or so.
