Greetings to all, right at this moment, the most important news is, that we have done our bottling. We didn't do all of it but the most important part, the bruts, is done. How it all will develop we are not sure. We have done what we could but the cider was not the most stable this year and bottling was done during a heat wave, which doesn't really help. Some assemblages are suppose to be bruts and some closer to the extra bruts. During autumn we will find out if it will be cause for a celebration or not.

The time of festivals and events in general is here. With the temperature raising goes up also the consumption of our alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. As usually we are fighting a bit to have enough people for our stands, we will see how it develops, we will not go crazy because of it.

For the ones who would like to enjoy a trip to the countryside of Český Les, we have openings for the elder flower harvesting and processing. Our main goal will be to make syrups and first seasonal flavour of honey sparkle. The season should peak between twenty of May and fifteen of June. We are in the foothills of Šumava, we should be able to harvest in the higher locations even till end of June, thank you Šumava! Helpers will be of course rewarded.

Last but not least news about Kvasu 2026. Because of the bottling, there is not so much new to share. However, thanks to our participation at the Festival of Fermentation in Cross Club in Praha Holešovice, we were able to promote and invite variety of fermentation enthusiasts. Lets see if we for example manage Lenka Kubelková from the studio Studio Cibule/Onion to participate. The list of people considering coming is getting longer. We have also purchased a book Zkvašeno, kuchařka na doma with the autographs of Zuzana Ouhrabková a Vladimír Sojka, another little tip mostly for Czech speakers.
