Jara or Cidrerie Jara is a for profit commercial project founded in the autumn of 2019 and it is run by František Algoldor Apfelbeck. Put it simply, it is a manner how to make my living using my knowledge and experience of fermentation. It's goal is to generate funds by making fermentation products, especially cider related, sharing knowledge by publications and presentations and organizing cider tastings and other events. The long term goal is to create to a considerable degree an autonomous community place in the countryside dedicated to fermentation and other activities. Cidrerie Jara will is planned to be the main "bread giver" for the next one or two decades or so.
