Greetings to all,
after a long warm summer is coming an autumn rich in harvest of so many things. Our eyes are set on apples, which crop seems to be quite abundant this time in Normandie, hopefully not as much as last year, which was super rich. Even in the Czech Republic, we will have something. How the weather is going to be is an open question. However, it is highly unlikely that it will be worse than last year (in Normandie). Not all of you can join us this season, we are understanding. For you, we plan to have "stormer" at our events, a fresh fermenting, already alcoholic apple juice analogy of "vin bourru". If we manage to make dried sliced apples, in Czech called "křížaly", we could fascinate you with these, but let`s see, fingers crossed. For those of you who will join us during this season, we will of course have a much wider selection. We would like to highlight that this year we plan to organize three harvesting trips to Normandie and also probably three within the Czech Republic. You will be rewarded with a unique and cool experience, profit from bed&board, and, on the way to Normandie and back, sharing our car. Naturally, there will be some "liquid thanks" for your hard work. For more information, please check here, we hope it will catch your interest and that you will join!
For those of you who would like to get our ciders and vinegar, you can check the info at our e-shop. However, it is not possible to order automatically yet, you need to contact us by phone or preferably by email : info (you know the sign) cidreriejara.com. Also, we can hand you over the order at the events where we are. For September, we would like to mention Zahrada Čech, Litoměřice, 13-18/9 and Slavnost Cideru v Praze at Cross Club 20-22/9.
This will be all for today, we would like to wish you lovely start of the autumn and we hope to see you soon somewhere!
For Kvasírna Jara,
František Apfelbeck
