The harvest and first step of processing of the 2022 cider season is now nearly finished, in the next week or two numbers will be done and short summary shared. Still very briefly, around 12 tonnes of apples were pressed and slightly under 100 hl (10 000 l) of moût is fermenting now. The specific density were better than last year, close to 1050 or even tiny bit above. Concerning the quantities, we have processed around 60% less of apples and there is less than 50% moût. The reasons for this is both the very weak year for apples and also the limits of investments into this season. As said more detail overview will be shared in the next week or two. Now next moth, another cider tasting and sale, this time come back to Prague and it's hackerspace Brmlab. The event is scheduled for 8th of December starting at 19h00, entrance is donation at your will no one turned away for lack of funds, for more info please have a look here. Christmas are coming so great opportunity to fix your presents! For Cidrerie Jara from Vale de Saire, František Algoldor Apfelbeck
