Greetings to all, | |||
the last news were about what was going on for us during the last year and at the beginning for this one. This time we will focus on two interesting events, [https://www.pivofestival.cz/informace/ Zlatá Pivní Pečeť] at [https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litom%C4%9B%C5%99ice Litoměřice] and at [https://cider-world.de/en/start/ Cider World] Frankfurt. The first event is the biggest competition in Czech Republic focusing on beers, minearal waters importantly for us, also on ciders. The event was happening already for thirty fourth time, it is more or less "travelling" around Czech towns, we definitely recommend to visit it. This year, we have send two samples, brut, assemblage 1, millésime 2022 and micro-cuvée 2, honey, calva, oak barrel, also millésime 2022. It is an honour to announce, that second candidate won silver in it's category of flavoured ciders. The brut 2022 won gold in the main category of traditional ciders, which make us very happy. During the event and afterwards we were discussing it's future development and how could we coordinate it with the organizers. | |||
Druhou zajímavou událostí hodnou vaší pozornosti byl Cider World ve Frankfurtu. Český kontingent čítal tři zástupce, jeli jsme společně a dorazili již ve čtvrtek. V pátek byla akce pro profesionály, ochutnávali jsme nejlepší cidry a zůčastnili se předávání cen (nesoutěžili jsme). Poté byla tůra po zajímavých projektech, restaurace, která si dělá vlastní Apfelweine již přes 150 let a stále je ve vlastnictví zakladatelů. Pak jsme navštívili projekt "otevřeného sadu", o který se starali dobrovolníci napříč všemi věkovými skupinami. Ochutnali jsme některé jejich výrobky nu a ti z vás, kdo se zůčastní našich ochutnávek, budou mít možná štěstí si je užít též. Druhý den byl věnován hlavním presentacím cidrů převážně z Evropy a tento rok také delegaci ze Spojených Států Amerických. Jako každý rok nebylo dost času ochutnat vše, ale i tak jsme si udělali představu kde jako komunita teď jsme. | |||
