The long awaited summer holidays are starting and with them also an increase in sales of our beverages, thanks to the hot days. Well in case that our customers do decide to leave the nice coolness of their homes and comfort of their gardens.
As a success of the last month we can consider the purchase of our second draft system, this time the "dry type". It is smaller than our first one which is water cooled, more power full and also heavier, 52 kg, two taps. Lets hope it will do us a service in the years to come. Concerning our presence at commercial events we will be focusing on markets in Prague, both Farmers Market at Náplavka and also on Farmers Market at Kulaťák. From time to time we will also try something else but we have to be reasonable, we are still short on human resources. We will be more experimental on Sundays ;-)
In the upcoming weeks we will be dedicating our time to processing of fruits. The season of syrup making, drying and also freezing is here. We may try to experiment with some light fruit wines. Also the preparations for WHY 2025 (What Hackers Yearn) in Netherlands will take some time and energy. We will be participating under the umbrella of Food Hacking Base project. From the events which happen lately we would like to mention the Carnivale Brettanomyces in Utrecht, which was really nice.
If you would like to spend some time in Kout na Šumavě or in Normandie, let us know! Some help would come handy and some basic comfort is established.
